The Barnyard is Richland County's new premier fall destination for families. They offer 15 attractions such as a corn maze, apple blaster, hillside slides, pumpkin slingshot, petting farm, inflatables, Barnyard ball zone, wagon rides, Barnyard game zone, and gemstone mining - just to name a few! The theme for the 2016 Corn Maze is the 50th Anniversary of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

September 24-25 - Hometown Heroes Weekend
In tribute to those who sacrifice so much, The Barnyard wants to give back to Ohio's firemen, police officers, and active/retired military (including reserve and national guard). They want to provide a limited number of free admission tickets to the Hometown Heroes and thier families during opening weekend! Each year they will honor a different group of heros for free tickets, but all groups are eligible for a discounted rate.
2016: Armed Forces
2017: Firefighters
2018: Police




Saturday, October 1 - Super Hero & Princess Day
Meet your favorite Super Heroes and Princesses. There will also be Storytime with Penelope, the Pumpkin Princess

Saturday, October 8 - Western Day
Buckaroo Pancake Breakfast 10am-Noon
Corn Roast 1-3pm
(both events are FREE w/admission)

Saturday, October 15 - 50 YEARS: The Great Pumpkin Celebration Party **Special Hours - close at 8pm**
Meet the Peanuts Gang
Charlie Brown Costume Contest: 2pm
Viewing of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown movie: 7pm

Saturday, October 22 - Halloween Extravaganza **Special Hours - close at 8pm**
Costume parade led by the Headless Horseman: 1pm
